Objectives

Define the broad sweep of the three dimensional geometry and variability of geologic materials.

Display the context and scale of real deposits in three dimensions with stereo views. These stereo views are presented as red and blue anaglyphs that require special glasses that are free by registering with the 3D program at Northwestern.

Components of individual cases include:

Base photo in low resolution with LINKED locations of high resolution 3D images (10s of Kb)
Base photo in medium resoulution to allow exploration of gray tone detail (100s of Kb)
Three dimensional anaglyph photo at 1200 dpi (Mbs JPEG file that will expand to 10s of Mb)
Three dimensional illustration of the deposit
